Homes in Focus is a series of intimate talks that take place in the Ulster Folk Museum’s beautiful buildings, delving into the lives of those who lived in them and the history of these unique homes.

For the next iteration of 'Homes in Focus', we’ll be gathering in the Ballyvollen Houses. Originally located on the banks of the Glenavy River close to its entry point to Lough Neagh, the houses originated from a 17th-century cruck framed house. Brothers, Hugh and William McGarry, who were both Lough Neagh fishermen, lived in the houses in the early 1900s. Hear more about them and their families as part of this talk.
